Description

EP-KR52 / EP-KRV52 is the EVER POWER designation for the 52 mm nominal outside-diameter size in the KR/KRV stud type track roller family. It uses a M20x1.5 stud, an outer-ring width of 24 mm and a speed reference of 7,000 rpm. This size is a practical screening point for printing machinery, machine-tool mechanisms and larger packaging cams.

Dimensions and mounting interface

EP-KR52 shares the M20 thread and core stud dimensions of EP-KR47 while increasing the outside diameter and mass. This can change contact geometry and inertia even when the mounting thread appears familiar.
| Dimension | Value |
|---|---|
| G1 | 21 mm |
| B max | 25.6 mm |
| B1 max | 66.1 mm |
| B2 | 40.5 mm |
| B3 | 9 mm |
| C1 | 0.8 mm |
| rs min | 1 mm |
EP-KR52 keeps an M20 mounting thread while increasing the rolling envelope. Confirm the axial stack and radial clearance together so the larger ring does not shift the intended contact line or interfere with adjacent components.
Construction and configuration choices
The family can use a cylindrical or spherical outer surface depending on design. Confirm the mating-track geometry and edge-contact requirement.
When eccentric adjustment is required, use the KRE / KRVE naming as the enquiry reference and confirm the eccentric value and mounting orientation.
If the mechanism needs a particular KRV sealing arrangement, grease specification, clean-production lubricant or washdown resistance, state it as an ordered requirement.
The larger M20-family ring should carry the intended radial cam reaction without persistent edge thrust. If the contact band is displaced to one side, investigate track alignment and support stiffness before selecting a replacement.
The larger rolling diameter can change the cam contact point relative to adjacent hardware even with an unchanged M20 thread. Check the full motion envelope, not only the static installed position.
Size-specific selection perspective
Where EP-KR52 / EP-KRV52 fits
The 52 mm size shares the M20×1.5 stud family with EP-KR47 but uses a larger outside diameter and higher mass. That difference matters when the surrounding cam path is tightly packaged or when moving inertia is significant to the mechanism. For printing machinery and larger packaging cams, verify clearance to adjacent plates, guards and fasteners as well as the contact width on the track. For machine-tool mechanisms, pay particular attention to mounting rigidity and repeatable seating at the stud shoulder. A retrofit should therefore compare the old follower’s measured diameter and width with the available envelope, even when the thread and legacy reference appear to point toward the same family.
Verify that the 52 mm ring has enough radial clearance even though the M20 thread may already match an existing support. Then review moving inertia, track width, cycle pattern and lubrication to decide whether this larger member of the M20 group is appropriate.
Replacement and cross-reference identification
IKO CF20-1 and WERB NAKD52 are useful identifiers for this nominal size. The KRV-family legacy row uses NAKD52V. Use these references to narrow the search, then verify the physical interface and ordered configuration before treating the parts as interchangeable.
| EP reference | IKO reference | WERB legacy | Replacement note |
|---|---|---|---|
| EP-KR52 | CF20-1 | NAKD52 | Standard KR-family reference; confirm ordered outer-surface and lubrication details. |
| EP-KRV52 | CF20-1 | NAKD52V | KRV-family reference; confirm sealing/guide configuration for the order. |
| EP-KRE52 / EP-KRVE52 | — | — | Eccentric-family naming when an eccentric arrangement is required; confirm e and the complete interface. |
Selection and installation checks
Confirm D* 52 mm, C 24 mm, M20x1.5 thread, B/B1/B2 geometry and the available shoulder/corner clearance.
Inspect the mating track in the context of machine-tool or heavy cam motion. A displaced contact band, ridge or local impact mark can indicate an alignment or track problem that should be corrected before EP-KR52 / EP-KRV52 is installed.
The speed reference is 7,000 rpm. Real operating suitability still depends on load, lubrication, temperature, contamination and cycle pattern.
State KR/KRV/KRE/KRVE preference, outer-surface geometry, lubricant/sealing requirement and any inspection/documentation needs in the RFQ.
