How to Replace IKO CF Series Cam Followers with EP-KR References

Engineering & procurement guidance

Start with the existing CF marking, then verify the geometry

The cross-reference table links IKO CF names to nominal EP-KR sizes. For example, CF5 points to the 13 mm size, CF20 to the 47 mm size, and CF30 to the 80 mm size. These links are useful for identification, but a maintenance decision should still be based on the physical interface and ordered features.

A replacement sequence

Record the complete marking before removal. Measure outside diameter D*, outer-ring width C and the stud thread. Then compare D1, G1 and the B/B1/B2/B3 dimensions where access allows. Inspect the mating track for wear or edge contact so a new follower is not installed onto a damaged path.

Use an external catalogue as another identification clue

When the old marking is hard to read, a specialist reference can help you understand naming patterns. You can also review cam roller references as a secondary identification resource. The final EP selection should still be checked against your drawing or sample rather than inferred from a web name alone.

What to send us

Send the CF marking, measured dimensions, quantity, machine function and photos of the stud side and outer ring. If the existing part has a special seal, outer-ring profile or adjustment feature, call it out explicitly.
