Treat EP-KR and EP-KRV as configurations to confirm, not a slogan
KR and KRV designations run side by side across the same nominal size progression, with legacy identification names available for comparison. That is enough to build a useful size-selection path, but it is not enough to make a blanket claim that every construction feature is identical across all sources or manufacturers.
What should stay constant in your comparison
Start with D*, C, D1, stud thread, G1 and the B-series dimensions. Then compare the ordered outer-ring profile, sealing or shielding, lubrication arrangement and any adjustment feature required by the machine. A maintenance team should record these details before removing the old unit whenever possible.
A practical RFQ
Write the existing marking exactly as shown, add measured dimensions and a close photo of both the outer-ring side and stud side. If your application has high cycle speed, washdown, cleanroom requirements or difficult relubrication access, mention that in the first message rather than after a model has already been quoted.
